How to connect an external LCD screen to a Raspberry Pi

Connecting a Raspberry Pi to an LCD screen using the HDMI port
Using the HDMI port is a simple and easy way to connect the Raspberry Pi to the LCD screen. Here, you just need to pick up an HDMI cable and plug it into both sides of the device. One end goes to the HDMI port of the LCD screen and the other end goes exactly to the HDMI port of the Raspberry Pi. This setup does not require any special driver software nor does it require any post plugin format configuration.
Connecting a Raspberry Pi to a DSI LCD screen
The Raspberry Pi comes with a small 15-pin ribbon cable connector that can support a display serial interface or DSI standard. This enables faster communication between the LCD screen and the chip.
You can use the Raspberry Pi 7 inch touch screen display by connecting it to the Raspberry Pi Board. All you have to do is attach the Respi PE to the back of the display screen using the stand office and screw that comes with the kit.
Now connect the pie board to the ribbon cable and the display control board. Note whether the ribbon cable pin orientation is appropriate. If the screen doesn’t turn on automatically when the power source is connected, you may need to connect an existing HDMI display to update your Raspberry Pi board and then reboot the device.
To run the board again, you need to run the latest Raspin building. To do this, open a terminal window and type in the following code:
sudo update update
After passing through the pointer, type in the following line
sudo opt-in upgrade
This will make your board run on the latest Raspin. Now set the code to restart the entire board.
